From the buckwheat fields of Northern Maine.
A strong, assertive honey. Some find it tastes similar to molasses. This raw buckwheat honey is minimally processed.

I like honey in my tea and find I can use only a quarter or third of a teaspoon when I use the raw buckwheat honey as it has such a nice rich flavor. Typically I would use a whole teaspoon of most other types of honey. As a borderline diabetic, it’s good to be able to use less and still enjoy my tea. I have bought it at Fryeburg Fair numerous times (I live in MA and can’t find it here) and have turned others on to it too. One such person is elderly and his taste buds are diminished and he loves this as he can taste it easily (We always buy him some when we are at the fair). I really love it.
