Reserve your 2025 Swan's Honey Nuc today with a purchase or deposit. Either option ensures your nuc will be ready for pickup starting in May 2025, weather permitting. If you choose to make a deposit, the remaining balance of $135 will be due at pickup, payable by card, cash, or check.
Each nuc is a five-frame hive boiling with bees, with 3+ frames of brood ready to hatch. The remaining frames contain a mix of hive resources, including eggs, pollen, bee bread, and honey. These nucs are established from new 2025 Queens as part of our Queen Breeding Program, with drones from diverse lineages contributing significant genetic diversity. Donor drones include proven Italian, Carniolan, and Buckfast strains, as well as queens carrying mite-resistant VSH (Poline and Spartan) traits. All nucs are carefully evaluated and inspected before distribution, and the Queens have been established long enough to ensure all brood in the nuc is the offspring of your Queen.
